About the e-ASIA Joint Research Program (e-ASIA JRP):
The e-ASIA JRP (http://www.the-easia.org/jrp/) is a multilateral matching-fund program that seeks to realize innovative and robust economies and societies in East Asia, by pursuing state-of-the-art technologies as well as solutions to common issues, such as those concerning the environment, natural disaster prevention and infectious diseases. In doing so, it also aims to strengthen R&D capabilities across the East Asian region.
It consists of the funding agencies from the East Asia Summit (EAS) participating countries (ASEAN 10 Member States+8). As of September 2015, there are 17 Member Organizations from 12 countries including NSTDA of Thailand.
In principle, each Member Organization funds the researchers in its own country to conduct multilateral international joint research and promote researchers interaction. The Program has been supported 11 projects so far.
The Program is now accepting proposals for collaborative research in the field of “Bioenergy”, “Intelligent Infrastructure for Transportation” and “Disaster Risk Reduction and Management” (closed on October 13, 2015).
Objectives of the Workshop:
- To disseminate the e-ASIA JRP
- To share the achievements and lessons learned of a finished project
- To share progress report of the ongoing projects
Language& Fee
The workshop will be conducted in English
It is free of charge.
